Spiros is a lovely guy who is honest and professional.
Born and raised in Nydri, Spiros knows all the best places for swimming, caves, beaches etc.

Fly me
Perhaps the most unique and beautiful place in Lefkada.
Fly Me Bar (next to Rachi restaurant) is located on a mountain top, “above the clouds.” It’s the perfect place to enjoy the wonderful sunset.
A very unique terrace bar with great atmosphere, good music and a perfect location.
We recommend that you come 1.5 hours before sunset and have a few drinks and then a nice dinner at the next door Rachi restaurant.

Taverna “O Minas”
One the best taverns in Lefkada. The food is always fresh, especially the fish and seafood.
Very nice service and hospitality. Located on a high porch in Nikiana with a wonderful sea view.
Seaside restaurant
Seaside is a fine dining take on Greek food.
The restaurant has a beautiful waterfront location in the village of Geni (3 minutes drive from Villa Lyra).
A very nice venue for a romantic dinner.
Rachi
Definitely the restaurant with the best view of the island. Located in the mountain village of Exanthia with an amazing view of the Island’s western coastline. You can enjoy stunning sunsets and a tasty meal.
Beaches
Porto Katsiki
Porto Katsiki is one of the most beautiful beaches in Lefkada and in the whole of Greece. The turquoise water and white sand lies beneath huge vertical cliffs and has amazing panoramic views. Perfect for a day trip. Don’t forget to bring an umbrella and towels, there isn’t any sunbed service here.
Kathisma beach
Kathisma is one of the most beautiful beaches of Lefkada. It is part of the island’s western coastline, close to the village of Agios Nikitas. Kathisma is one of the longest beaches of Lefkada, with fine white sand and sparkling waters of amazing turquoise color. The beach is surrounded by an idyllic mountain backdrop that offers a feeling of total isolation.
The best place to go in Kathisma is “Copla”. This full-service bar & restaurant is surrounded by a big pool. Copla offers sunbeds and service on the beach as well.
Maraboo
In the center of Nydri, Maraboo beach offers full service and sunbeds.
The restaurant serves great food for lunch or dinner and there is also a nice cocktail bar.
On the same beach, just a few footsteps away, you can find a variety of water sports for all ages.
Desimi beach
A nice and quiet beach located just 5 minutes drive from our Villa in the Geni peninsula.
The beach is in a bay, which keeps it protected from the wind and waves. Its water has a gorgeous emerald green color due to the greenery behind it. Most of the time, the beach isn’t very crowded.
